7050 T4 round aluminum bar is a high-strength heat-treatable alloy with extremely high strength and resistance to spalling corrosion and stress corrosion fracture. The main alloying element is zinc, and adding magnesium to an alloy containing 3%-75% zinc can form MgZn2 with significant strengthening effect, so that the heat treatment effect of the alloy is far better than that of aluminum zinc binary alloy. Increasing the content of zinc and magnesium in the alloy, the tensile hardness will be further improved, and its resistance to stress corrosion and spalling corrosion will be increased. After heat treatment, very high strength characteristics can be achieved. This series of materials will generally add a small amount of copper chromium and other alloys. The 7050-T7451 aluminum alloy in the system is the top product, known as the best aluminum alloy products, high strength, far better than soft steel. This alloy has good mechanical properties and anode reaction.
Application: Mainly used in aerospace, mold processing, mechanical equipment. Fixture, especially used for aircraft manufacturing structures and other high-stress structures requiring high strength and strong corrosion resistance.
